Judith Sher

Judith Sher (nee Simons) is a People Rich Performance Consultant and Coach who specialises in project management coaching, consulting and training. She has 20 years experience in project management, and has provided project management consulting and coaching services to key organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, and on behalf of consulting firms such as Price Waterhouse, Deloitte, the Birchman Group and AeM Group (now Ajilon).   Originally from the UK, Judith has spent the last 15 years in Australia.

With a MA (Hons) in Psychology from Glasgow University, she firmly supports People Rich's view that the "people" aspects of projects are critical yet often missed, and is experienced in working on the cultural and political challenges that inhibit project success.   Judith holds an international certification as a DISC Behavioural Consultant, as well as  Practitioner certification in Humanistic Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Her professional experience has ranged from roles such as Practice Leader, Consulting Manager, Project Manager, Business Integration Manager, and Test Manager, offering a wide and extensive understanding of technical and non-technical projects. Building upon her project management expertise, Judith has also overseen teams of Project Managers, and has trained and coached potential and inexperienced project managers.  

Judith provides coaching to project managers and project team members in areas such as:

• Facilitating project planning, issues and risks workshops;
• Identifying and engaging key stakeholders, including communications planning;
• Conducting efficient project meetings, engaging participants and capturing the project’s progress;
• Reviewing project progress and assisting in the resolution of project challenges;
• Reviewing project documentation, ensuring both the quality and depth of detail; and
• Providing psychological support and guidance.

 

Judith also specialises in implementing project management methodologies, and conducting project audits and remedial planning for troubled projects, and is a trainer in project management within People Rich.
